Dirk Jenter, Professor of Finance in the LSE Department of Finance, at the London School of Economics and Political Science, is a leading scholar in corporate governance, executive selection and compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and firms’ interactions with capital markets.
His work has appeared in leading finance journals and has been featured in outlets such as the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Economist.
Election as an ECGI Fellow represent the institute’s highest honour. Fellows are recognised for scientific excellence and outstanding contributions to corporate governance and stewardship. Their work has shaped global research, informed policy debates, and advanced the understanding of governance worldwide.
