In January 2020, the Greek government appointed a Commission to propose a growth plan for the Greek economy. The Pissarides Commission produced a comprehensive report in November 2020, now translated into English in a CEPR book, that analyses the strengths and weaknesses of the Greek economy, charts the direction that the economy should take in the next decade, and proposes a set of policies to achieve the desired targets. The report remains as relevant today as when it was first presented to the Greek government.
