Title: From evolving to temporal networks: the impact on spreading

Dr. Claudio J. Tessone is a researcher in the Chair of Systems Design, ETH Zurich. During his PhD studies, he investigated stochastic processes and the role of heterogeneity in complex systems. In his current position, he studied social, economic and technical systems from an quantitative and interdisciplinary point of view and has published more than 40 papers in diverse areas. His research encompasses theory, modelling and data analysis. Currently, his research focus is on temporal networks: rapidly evolving structures whose emerging global properties greatly differ from the equivalent aggregated representation.
